Rising seniors Riley Harrison and Katie Hoeg were each named Thursday to the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches’ Association Academic Honor Roll, placing them among 509 student-athletes from 100 different institutions to be honored.
To earn this distinction, players must be a junior, senior or graduate student with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5.
Hoeg is coming off a season in which she set the single season and career assist record at UNC, while Harrison was an attacker off the bench.
Both players made the ACC Academic Roll earlier this summer.
