CHAPEL HILL– The No.4 UNC women’s soccer team rides a six-game winning streak into their ACC showdown with undefeated and untied No. 1 Virginia Sunday afternoon.

The Tar Heels could certainly use the win over the Cavaliers to improve their current fourth place spot in the conference standings.

But Carolina will be without the leadership of senior midfielder Crystal Dunn this time around. Dunn is currently representing the U.S. National team and will return by the end of the month. But luckily for the Tar Heels, Virginia will be without their leading scorer Morgan Brian. Brian joins Dunn on the National team.

Carolina enters the contest with a 13-2 overall record and a 7-2 tally in the ACC. UVA heads into the game with perfect 15-0 record.

Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m. at Fetzer Field. Tickets will be $5 to the general public and free for all UNC faculty, staff and students. If you can’t make it down to campus, WCHL will have you covered with all the live game action.
