The top-ranked UNC women’s tennis team opened its dual match season on Tuesday with a 7-0 victory in Chapel Hill over the UNCW Seahawks.
Without dropping a single set, the Tar Heels cruised to their 19th win in a row dating back to last season and 34th straight victory at home.
UNC won the doubles point to begin the match, then received six consecutive singles victories in straight sets from Sara Daavettila, Cameron Morra, Alexa Graham, Elizabeth Scotty, Anika Yarlagaada and Fiona Crawley.
