With a 4-1 victory over No. 5 Pepperdine on Saturday in Stillwater, Oklahoma, the top-ranked UNC women’s tennis team advanced to the finals of the ITA National Indoor Tournament.
The Tar Heels (6-0) won the doubles point to kick off the match, then received singles victories from Cameron Morra (6-0, 6-1), Makenna Jones (6-3, 6-0) and Fiona Crawley (6-3, 6-4) to wrap up the semifinal victory.
For UNC, this was also the program’s 24th consecutive dual match victory overall–matching the 2019 team for second-longest streak in school history.
