Make it 32 consecutive dual match wins for the top-ranked UNC women’s tennis team, which cruised to a 7-0 road victory on Friday against Clemson.

It was also the fourth consecutive shutout win for the Tar Heels, who improved to 14-0 this season and 5-0 in ACC play.

UNC won the doubles point to begin Friday’s match, then received quick singles victories from Fiona Crawley (6-3, 6-0), Elizabeth Scotty (6-3, 6-1) and Sara Daavettila (6-4, 6-3) to clinch the team win.

The Tar Heels would then sweep the three remaining singles contests as well, adding insult to injury as Clemson falls to 6-9 overall and 0-6 against conference opponents.
