After playing two rounds on Sunday at the Sawgrass Country Club, the UNC men’s golf team is in a tie for the lead entering Monday’s final round.
Led by a 3-under-par 69 from Joshua Martin and a 2-under-par 70 from Ryan Gerard in the second round, the Tar Heels have a combined team score of even par–which was good enough to tie them atop the leader board alongside Louisville.
Austin Hitt’s score of 2-under-par through both rounds has him as UNC’s top individual, however, as he sits in a tie for ninth place overall.
