A total of four UNC players were named All-Americans by the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches’ Association on Wednesday, led by First Team selections Jamie Ortega and Emma Trenchard.

Ortega set a single-season school record with 112 points this season, while Trenchard was rock solid on defense all year long–earning the ACC Defensive Player of the Year award.

Joining the duo on the All-American rosters were attacker Katie Hoeg (Second Team) and goalkeeper Taylor Moreno (Third Team).

Hoeg tallied a school record 73 assists this season and her 104 points made her just the second Tar Heel to ever reach the century mark in a single season, alongside Ortega.

Moreno, meanwhile, had 11 games where she recorded at least 10 saves–including all three in the NCAA Tournament.
