All-American honors continue to roll in for UNC freshman designated hitter Aaron Sabato, who earned a Third Team selection on Thursday from D1Baseball.com.
Sabato has already been named a First Team All-American by Collegiate Baseball and a Third Team selection from Baseball America.
Perfect Game also gave Sabato a spot on its Freshman All-American team alongside teammate Danny Serretti.
The ACC Freshman of the Year put together one of the best rookie seasons in UNC history in 2019, belting a single-season freshman record 18 home runs to go along with a team-high .343 batting average and 63 RBIs.
He also became the first Tar Heel to hit for the cycle in a game since 2012 when he pulled off the feat against NC State last month.
