A total of eight Tar Heels were selected Friday to the All-ACC teams by the league office, just days after leading the program to its 24th regular season conference title.

Maycee Bell, Emily Fox, Rachel Jones, Brianna Pinto and Claudia Dickey gave UNC five players named to the All-ACC First Team, while midfielder Taylor Otto earned a spot on the Second Team.

Bell and Fox have anchored the team’s defense in front of Dickey–the goalkeeper–all season long, while forwards Jones and Pinto have been two of the team’s most reliable scorers.

Midfielder Sam Meza earned a Third Team selection and also joined forward Talia Dellaperuta on the ACC All-Freshman team.

Heading into Sunday’s ACC title game against Florida State, this group of outstanding players has led UNC to a perfect 11-0-0 record.
