Last Thursday’s victory over Pittsburgh snapped a six-game losing streak for the UNC football team, as sophomore receiver Anthony Ratliff-Williams became the first player in all of college football this season to return a kick for a touchdown, throw a touchdown and catch a touchdown all in the same game.

The ACC recognized Ratliff-Williams’ efforts on Monday, by naming him its Specialist of the Week.

Ratliff-Williams brought the opening kickoff back 98 yards for a score against Pittsburgh, sparking the Tar Heels for what would ultimately become their first win against conference competition.

It’s the second time in 2017 the native of Matthews, North Carolina has earned the honor–having also won it in Week Two after he returned a kick for a touchdown during UNC’s loss to Louisville.

With two kick return scores this season, Ratliff-Williams is tied with every other player in the ACC combined in that category.
