Former UNC star Antawn Jamison was one of six players selected Sunday to join the College Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2021.
Jamison was the 1997-98 Naismith Player of the Year while playing for the Tar Heels, and was a two-time All-American who helped guide UNC to two Final Four appearances before being selected fourth overall in the 1998 NBA Draft.
Throughout his three years in Chapel Hill, Jamison posted averages of 19.9 points and 9.9 rebounds per game.
He joins Len Bias (Maryland), Hersey Hawkins (Bradley), Jim Jackson (Ohio State), David Greenwood (UCLA) and Paul Pierce–who played for Roy Williams at Kansas from 1995-98–in filling out this Hall of Fame class.
