Originally scheduled to be held next week at Duke, the 2020 ACC Field Hockey Championship tournament will now be held at Karen Shelton Stadium in Chapel Hill.
The league announced the move on Friday, with the decision to move the event made at Duke’s request.
Nothing has changed in terms of scheduled game dates. The tournament will be played from Nov. 5-8.
All players competing in the event will be tested for COVID-19 three times per week, which follows the guidance of the Medical Advisory Group Report.
In the conference’s abbreviated season, Louisville sits atop the standings with a 7-0 record. UNC is in second at 6-1 on the season and Syracuse is in third with a 3-3 record.
