CHAPEL HILL – One hundred and five North Carolina football players reported to campus Wednesday, a day before the Tar Heels officially open training camp with their first practice of the 2013 season.

Head Coach Larry Fedora led the team through a series of introductory meetings, which included presentations from all support services.

“We have 29 practices before we kick it off against South Carolina,” he said.  “We have to make the most of these opportunities and I know our kids are excited about getting things started.”

Following the team meeting, players and staff adjourned for a team meal at Top of the Hill restaurant in downtown Chapel Hill.  Carolina will hold its first practice Thursday morning at 9:50 a.m.
