Ever wanted to hit your longest drive in Kenan Stadium? Now you can.
The Topgolf Stadium tour, which brings the popular golf party game to large venues around the country, is coming to Chapel Hill in March, according to a release from UNC.
“The Topgolf Live Stadium Tour brings a truly immersive Topgolf experience to the country’s most iconic venues,” the release said. “Players enjoy a one-of-a-kind opportunity to tee it up inside fan-favorite stadiums, hitting golf balls into on-field targets placed between 60 and 140 yards from the tee box. Toptracer technology accurately traces the flight path of golf balls, instantly scoring every shot in an interactive, in-stadium game, designed for all skill levels.”
The tour is scheduled to hit Kenan Stadium from March 3 until March 6. Tickets will go on sale Friday, January 7 at 1 p.m. and can be purchased here. Prices start at $80 for players and $40 for students. Experience tickets, which are available for $175, include access to an exclusive stadium tour, drink tickets, a complimentary Topgolf lifetime membership and a game play voucher which is redeemable at any U.S. Topgolf location, excluding Las Vegas.
To mitigate the spread of COVID during the event, Topgolf will be cleaning golf clubs, hitting bays, tables and golf balls between uses, as well as placing hand sanitizer throughout the venue. For UNC’s COVID protocols regarding events in Kenan Stadium, click here.
