To commemorate Kenan Stadium’s centennial season, 97.9 The Hill is inviting community members to share their favorite Kenan memories from the past 100 years. This twice-weekly series will showcase stories from players and fans throughout the fall.

Kenan Stadium is the centerpiece of UNC’s athletic facilities, and fall gamedays in Chapel Hill are by far the largest events staged by the athletic department every year. For UNC’s Rick Steinbacher, the fan experience is top of mind during each of those gamedays. Steinbacher, a former Tar Heel football player himself, discussed what he hopes each and every fan takes away from their Kenan Stadium visit.
