To commemorate Kenan Stadium’s centennial season, 97.9 The Hill is inviting community members to share their favorite Kenan memories from the past 100 years. This twice-weekly series will showcase stories from players and fans throughout the fall.

The UNC spirit squads are an integral part of any Kenan Stadium gameday. That includes the UNC Dance Team, which includes Chatham County Public Information Officer Kara Lusk among its distinguished alumnae. Lusk, who grew up a Tar Heel fan, remembers all the nerves and emotions which went into her first performance on the Kenan grass.
