Former UNC fan favorite Theo Pinson put together the performance of his life on Thursday night, as he dropped a career-high points for the Long Island Nets of the NBA G-League.

Not known for his shooting ability as a Tar Heel, Pinson also converted on seven of his 13 attempts from three-point range against the Maine Red Claws.

So far this season for Long Island, Pinson is averaging 18.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 6.7 assists per game. Thursday was his seventh time scoring at least 20 points this season, a mark he hit just three times in four years at UNC.

Playing on a two-way contract this year, Pinson is eligible to play 45 days in the NBA for the Brooklyn Nets in addition to his work in the G-League.
