Chapel Hill Transit will delay the start of service for seven routes on Saturday, April 22 due to road closures for the Tar Heel Ten Miler Run.
The A, CM, CW, D, J, N and NS routes will all begin service around 10 a.m., dependent on their schedules. The first trip start time and location for each route is as follows:
- A – 10 a.m. at Weiner/Severin Streets
- CM – 10 a.m. at Jones Ferry Lot
- CW – 10:16 a.m. at Old Fayetteville Road
- D – 10:16 a.m. at Old Chapel Hill Road
- J – 9:59 a.m. at Jones Ferry/Davie Road
- N – 9:59 a.m. Estes Park Apartments
- NS – 9:58 a.m. Southern Village Park and Ride
The U and NU routes will not be affected and will run on regular schedules. EZ-Rider customers will not have their service reduced, but Chapel Hill Transit expects to see delays between 7 and 10 a.m. as vehicles work around road closures and traffic.
