Chatham County authorities are renewing a call for public assistance identifying suspects in convenience store robberies from late 2017.

Four suspects entered the Circle K at 11399 US 15-501 North in Chapel Hill early in the morning of Saturday, December 23, according to a release from the sheriff’s office. Officials say the suspects “displayed firearms while demanding money.”

The four suspects, three of whom were described as white males, fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Law enforcement officials say the have now confirmed “two other Circle K stores in surrounding counties were also robbed by the same suspects shortly after.”
