The Chapel Hill Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery Monday night on West Rosemary Street.

The town sent out a release following the incident at La Nueva Guadalupana. Police said at 8:12 p.m., two suspects entered the Latino convenience store and displayed handguns. A fight broke out between the suspects and those working in the store. One of the workers sustained a gunshot to the leg, while another worker was cut and hit on the head. One of the suspects also sustained a laceration to the head.

All three injured parties were transported to UNC hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The other suspect fled the scene.

Police said both guns were recovered at the scene. One was a pistol and the other was a BB gun.

The Chapel Hill Police are warning residents to call 911 if they see the other suspect. He is a male who, at the time of the robbery, was wearing blue jeans, a black sweatshirt with text on the back, and white Nike shoes. He was seen fleeing in a silver car, possibly an Acura, and he may have been cut during the fight.
