Carrboro Police have arrested 28-year old Jewell Pridgeon in connection with a fatal shooting that took place earlier this month.

Authorities were called to 810 Old Fayetteville Road just after 2 a.m. Friday, November 2, after reports of gunshots. Two victims were found shot. One died from injuries sustained in the shooting.

On November 9, Carrboro Police arrested 31-year old Steven Sutton and charged him with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon, attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, possession of a stolen firearm and possession of a firearm by a felon.

According to a release by Carrboro Police, Pridgeon is being charged with two accounts of accessory after the fact to first degree murder, one count of accessory after the fact to robbery with a dangerous weapon, and one count of accessory after the fact to attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon.

She is being held in the Orange County jail in Hillsborough under a $500,000 bond.
