The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has arrested three individuals in connection with a string of break-ins in southern Orange County.

Authorities said three residential breaking and entering incidents were reported beginning around 1 p.m. Tuesday.

Deputies first responded to a home on Morrow Mill Road, where a witness reported to law enforcement that a white four-door Honda Accord was in the area prior to the breaking and entering being discovered.

While authorities were investigating the scene on Morrow Mill Road a second breaking and entering was reported on Millikan Road, followed by a third incident reported later in the afternoon on Springhill Forest Road.

Law enforcement officials said in a release that firearms and jewelry were stolen from the properties.

Witnesses reportedly alerted deputies to a vehicle matching the suspect vehicle description. A traffic stop was then conducted at the intersection of Oakdale Drive and North Carolina Highway 86 South in Hillsborough.

“The witness who observed the vehicle previously positively identified it,” authorities said in a release, and the three males occupying the vehicle were subsequently arrested.”

The sheriff’s office said Wednesday that 28-year-old Deshawn Baily, 25-year-old Gaberial Harris and 21-year-old Jonathan Davidson were arrested and charged with multiple counts of breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, injury to real property and larceny of a firearm. Additional charges “will be forthcoming.”
