The Music Loft on Main Street in Carrboro has closed.
The business closed its doors at the end of 2017, according to a post on the company’s website.
“We have been so fortunate to be a part of this community over the years,” owners Jim and Katharine Dennis wrote. “It has been great to be a part of helping people make music.”
The Music Loft has been in operation in Carrboro since the early 2000s.
Ownership left details regarding picking up any consignments, if customers had any dealings left with the business.
The IndyWeek is reporting that the landlord is working with former Music Loft employees to possibly open a new music store in the same space.
