Recreation Supervisor for the Town of Carrboro Galen Poythress spoke with 97.9 The Hill’s Andrew Stuckey. He discussed this weekend’s Open Streets event that will see the closure of Weaver Street to car traffic. He outlined several of the features of this year’s event, talked about the history of the event, and talked about the value of having open public spaces in town.
