Orange County District 2 Commissioner Phyllis Portie-Ascott spoke with 97.9 The Hill’s Andrew Stuckey on Wednesday, July 19th. She discussed the upcoming National Association of Counties in Texas later this week. She also discussed being a new commissioner, and offered advice for people considering running for the first time.
