Harrison Ingram is officially league-bound.

The former UNC standout was selected by the San Antonio Spurs with the 18th pick in the second round (No. 48 overall) of the 2024 NBA Draft on Thursday.

Ingram transferred to Chapel Hill from Stanford after two seasons with the Cardinal. In his lone year as a Tar Heel, he started 36 of UNC’s 37 games (the only missed start being on Senior Night). His 12.2 points per game ranked third on the team and his 8.8 rebounds per game ranked second. Ingram also led the Tar Heels with 51 steals, and his 38.5 percent mark on three-pointers represented a jump of nearly seven percentage points from the season prior. He was named third team All-ACC.

This is not the first time a Tar Heel will have donned a Spurs uniform. Former star and 2009 national champion Danny Green played eight seasons in San Antonio, winning an NBA title in 2014.

Ingram is the 120th Tar Heel to hear his name called in the NBA Draft. Only Kentucky and UCLA have produced more draft picks.
