For this month’s Wonderful Water segment, the Orange Water and Sewer Authority’s Katie Hall and Inter-Faith Council’s Jennifer Gill visit 97.9 The Hill’s Brighton McConnell. OWASA’s annual Care to Share Day is on Thursday, November 16, and Hall shares details on the fundraising effort and OWASA program. The Care to Share program works all year round to provide funds for community members who are struggling to pay their water bills. Then, Gill provides perspective on the different needs people in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro face this year, and each year, while also detailing how people can access this emergency fund.
