Florida State’s Robby Martin hit a walk-off two-run homer on Saturday in Tallahassee to lift the 18th-ranked Seminoles to a 4-2 victory over the UNC baseball team–tying up the weekend series heading into Sunday’s finale.

That was exactly how Florida State (14-9, 9-8 ACC) started the game as well, taking a 2-0 lead on a home run from Nander de Sedas in the bottom of the first inning.

The Tar Heels (14-11, 9-8 ACC) tied it up when Caleb Roberts hit a two-run blast of his own in the top of the fourth inning, his team-leading seventh of the season.

Reliever Gage Gillian was called to come into the game for UNC in the third inning. He was outstanding on the mound, striking out seven hitters and allowing just two hits over the 4.2 innings he pitched.

The Seminoles hit the game-winning home run against Tar Heel reliever Nik Pry in the ninth.
