Early voting across North Carolina begins Thursday, but where can Orange and Chatham County residents go to cast their ballots? Here’s a list of the early voting sites in each of the counties, as well as early voting times.
Orange County
Orange County has six early voting locations, including a new one added at the University Place mall. You can access it by going to back side of where Southern Season was previously housed.
- Board of Elections Office at 208 S Cameron Street in Hillsborough
- Carrboro Town Hall at 301 W Main Street in Carrboro
- Chapel of the Cross at 304 E Franklin Street in Chapel Hill
- Efland Ruritan Club at 3009 Forrest Avenue in Efland
- Seymour Senior Center at 2551 Homestead Road in Chapel Hill
- University Place, Area D14 at 201 S Estes Drive in Chapel Hill
Here are the times and dates all the locations will be open:
- Thursday – Friday, February 13 – 14: 8 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
- Saturday, February 15: 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
- Sunday, February 16: 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
- Monday – Friday, February 17 – 21: 8 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
- Saturday, February 22: CLOSED
- Sunday, February 23: 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
- Monday – Friday, February 24 – 28: 8 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
- Saturday, February 29: 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
****UPDATE: Due to early voting locations closing early on Thursday, February 20, due to inclement weather, hours were added to Sunday, February 23. The date was previously closed before.****

Chatham County
Two new locations were added this year, with the Board of Elections building being removed from early voting sites.
- Chatham County Agriculture & Conference Center at 1192 US HWY 64 West Business in Pittsboro
- CCCC Health Science Building at 75 Ballentrae Court in Pittsboro
- Earl B. Fitts Community Center at 111 S. Third Avenue in Siler City
- Goldston Town Hall at 40 Coral Avenue in Goldston
Here are the times and dates all locations will be open:
****UPDATE: Chatham County closed early voting locations on Friday, February 21, due to inclement weather. The only location available that day is the Agricultural and Conference Center from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.****
- Thursday, February 13 – 14: 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Saturday, February 15: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- Monday, February 17 – 21: 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Saturday, February 22: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- Monday, February 24 – 28: 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Saturday, February 29: 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
