The ACC released the full women’s basketball conference schedule for the upcoming 2019-20 season on Tuesday, as UNC gets set to begin its first year under new head coach Courtney Banghart.

This year will mark the first time that the women’s conference schedule consists of 18 games.

Following an 11-game non-conference slate, the Tar Heels open conference play at home on Dec. 30 against Pittsburgh.

A pair of road games at Virginia (Jan. 2) and Virginia Tech (Jan. 5) are set to follow the opener, with a return home to Carmichael Arena against NC State on Jan. 9 to come after that.

UNC will then head to Tallahassee to face Florida State on Jan. 12 prior to back-to-back home games against Miami (Jan. 16) and Louisville (Jan. 19).

The next two games will come in Atlanta against Georgia Tech on Jan. 23, followed by a trip to Raleigh for the second showdown against NC State on Jan. 26.

After leaving Raleigh, a pair of home games against Virginia (Jan. 30) and Clemson (Feb. 2) will be next on the schedule.

The first matchup against Duke will come at Cameron Indoor Stadium on Feb. 6.

Two more home contests await after that game with the Blue Devils, as Virginia Tech (Feb. 9) and Syracuse (Feb. 13) make the trip to Chapel Hill.

With just four games left in the regular season, the Tar Heels will then travel for three consecutive road battles at Boston College (Feb. 16), Wake Forest (Feb. 23) and Notre Dame (Feb. 27).

The regular season will then conclude at Carmichael Arena when Duke visits on March 1.

This year’s ACC Tournament will then be held from March 4-8 in Greensboro.
