****UPDATE: Police said just after 11:30 a.m. Saturday that Butchko had been located and is safe.****

The Chapel Hill Police Department is asking for assistance locating a missing 62-year-old woman.

Authorities said on Friday night that Jennifer Butchko was last seen around 12:30 p.m. Friday leaving a residence on Village Crossing Drive.

Butchko is described as roughly 5 feet 8 inches with a slender build with blue eyes and blonde/gray shoulder-length hair, according to police. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a gray shirt and possibly a red sweatshirt.

Police said Butchko may be operating a white 2011 Toyota Corolla with North Carolina license plate FLS-4340.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Butchko is asked to call 911 or Orange County Communications at (919) 732-5063.
