UNC faces off against Iona in the opening round of the 2019 NCAA Tournament, with freshmen Coby White and Nassir Little getting their first taste of postseason college basketball action.

White, who averages 16.3 points per game in his first season in Chapel Hill, will be under pressure to lead North Carolina’s offense as the Tar Heels get deeper into the tournament. Meanwhile, Little has been a key rotational player for the Tar Heels and is averaging 9.4 points coming off the bench.

Both of the freshmen will be using this opportunity to display their talents to NBA scouts as well. Little has been a projected lottery pick in the 2019 NBA Draft for several years, but his freshman season at UNC has not gone according to plan. White was not thought to be a first-round player coming out of high school, but has spent the last season turning into a prolific scorer for the Tar Heels.
