Earlier this summer, we asked fans to create their best UNC lineup using only $15.

Today, we’re posing a different question. Which team created from UNC players by decade would win a hypothetical 3v3 tournament?

Let’s also say for the sake of the hypothetical argument that you can have either Roy Williams or Dean Smith as your head coach.

Honestly, I’m going with the 80’s. Michael Jordan’s pure athleticism combined with a big presence from Sam Perkins and James Worthy is a tough combination to pick against. The shooting ability of the 10’s squad intrigues me and the defensive ability of the 70’s team would be great, but the ceiling of the 80’s squad is the highest out of any in my opinion.
