Today is Thursday, November 12, 2015. Ron White is running for president. Everybody’s upset about Christmas gear and squirrels can be funny.
Ron White is Running for President
Ron White is a comedian. He also might be the next president of the United States.
In an interview with AOL Build , Ron White made the big announcement. He explains:
“I was just sitting at home, watching [the debate] … asking myself, ‘Is this it? Are the best and the brightest running for president? I have to choose from these people?'”
He adds, “For the last 30 years of my life, I’ve done nothing but non-stop touring across this country, back and forth, making these people laugh, eating with these people, drinking with these people.”
Ron White is probably best known for his contributions to the Blue Collar Comedy Tour with Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, and Larry the Cable Guy. The 58-year-old cigar smoking, Scotch drinking comic is known in some law enforcement circles by his alias, “Tater Salad.”
His slogan for his campaign is “Vote Smart. Because You Can’t Fix Stupid.”
“You Can’t Fix Stupid” was the title of White’s 2006 comedy album.
Christmas Anger
It is only November 12, but Christmas anger is already rolling. You have probably heard about Starbucks and their red cups .
But, Target is getting some push-back for their “OCD- Obsessive Christmas Disorder” sweaters. Cracker Barrel and Amazon carry similar products.
There was no break between the Halloween costume outrage and the Christmas outrage.
