Welcome to Talking Culture! In this weekly interview series from 97.9 The Hill WCHL, you’ll hear from writers, performers, musicians and individuals involved in advancing and promoting cultural arts in our community.
This week, Aaron welcomes singer/songwriter Johnny Sunrise (John DiSabito) to play the song “Baby’s Gone Away,” which is on his new EP “Live From Home.” Originally from Massachusetts, he’s now based in Carrboro and rapidly getting established as a central figure in the local music scene.
Johnny Sunrise and the Clouds are playing at Cat’s Cradle Back Room Thursday, January 29, with Supermutt and Autumn House opening. Click here for tickets and more information.
