Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Carrboro High School students have transitioned to online learning to minimize in-person contact.
However, the staff still found a way to celebrate its outgoing senior class. On Wednesday, May 6, teachers and staff gathered on campus to distribute caps, gowns and tassels to students.

This article erroneously is telling the community that CHS will not have a ceremony for graduation. Please note that CHCCS has not canceled the 2020 graduation. There is a district committee of principals, PTSA leads, PG leads, parents and students meeting tomorrow to discuss what can be done for the seniors for graduation.
I don’t want CHS families to leave town assuming that graduation is canceled when it has not been. Only 23 of the Carrboro seniors did not attend yesterday’s drive thru that gave each senior a yard sign.
