The folks behind well-known local restaurant Town Hall Burger & Beer are debuting a new concept in Veranda, a new commercial and retail area off of 15-501 near Briar Chapel, called O’Ya Cantina that promises to “showcase authentic recipes from Mexico and Peru,” according to a press release.
From traditionally-inspired dishes like Peruvian chicken, ceviche and tamales to burrito bowls and tacos, O’Ya will serve their food following the Town Hall Burger & Beer model with a service counter and relaxed, open seating arrangements.
Historic recipes such as Peruvian chicken and rice, ceviche, tamales, various season and themed bowls and tacos. In addition, guests can order cocktails from O’Ya’s margarita, sangria and mojito bar.
“Briar Chapel has been an incredible, welcoming community, and we wanted to provide another place for the residents to hang out,” said Dave Sadeghi, owner of Town Hall Burger & Beer and O’Ya. “We love being a part of the fabric of this community.”
According to Sadeghi, O’Ya will also add an outdoor bar near the patio fireplace so that guests from both Town Hall and O’Ya can enjoy the seasonal weather and programming, such as live music in Briar Chapel.
O’Ya is already under construction with a slated opening date of January 2020.
