After working in clinical and health research for 10 years, Judit Beres left her successful career to pursue her true passion.

From that passion was born Neomega Nutritionals, a new take on culinary oilsFrom artisan cold-pressed avocado oils to vegetarian omega 3 oils, there’s an option for everyone.

“Many people don’t associate an oil with being a superfood, or being healthy, even, or reducing inflammation,” Beres told WCHL contributor Ashley Peterson earlier this year. “But, in fact, it does. Good fats are very important for our diet, and our brain is 70 percent fat.”

One of Beres’ inspirations was helping her son with his severe allergies and eczema. Through natural medicine and dietary changes, she was able to reduce all of his allergies.

Neomega oils are available on Amazon Prime, on their website and in specialty shops throughout the Triangle, such as Weaver Street Market and Raleigh Provisions.

As a recipient of the Small Business Grant Program, Neomega Nutrionals was able to increase their workforce and marketing efforts.
