In a special edition of “Live & Local,” listen below to join 97.9 The Hill’s Aaron Keck for a show focused on Nightsound Studios, a recording studio in Carrboro that has hosted many local artists as they record albums and EPs — many of whom you’ve heard on “Live & Local” before now!
Also in this episode, you’ll find segments of Aaron’s conversation with Chris Wimberley — the man behind Nightsound and a previous studio guest with his band Stranger Spirits — as part of the full hour of entirely local music all recorded here in our community! Wimberley has over 20 years of experience recording, mixing, producing and creating music — and Nightsound’s Carrboro recording and rehearsal space has helped him put that experience to good use.
