Join Aaron Keck Tuesday through Friday at 6:00 p.m. for “Live & Local,” where you’ll hear music from artists close to home, and even get the chance to listen in as local musicians talk about where they’ve been, where they’re going, and what’s happening in the local music scene.
In this edition of “Live & Local,” join Aaron Keck for a conversation with guitarist, songwriter and singer extraordinaire Glenn Jones as they talk about new albums, new lives and new years — plus some upcoming concerts and official album releases!
Glenn Jones is a singer-songwriter currently based out of Chapel Hill, but with just enough of rolling stone spirit to gather the kind of moss that lends itself exceptionally well to soulful stylings and flowing lyrics. Playing public gigs since the age of 13, Jones’ newest album — “Waiting For The Good Times” — is a 12-track road-tested yarn of what brought him here, and what keeps him going.
Glenn Jones played two songs in between conversations in the studio: “Ripples in the Pond” and “My Baby Makes Pie.” You can hear both below, and tune in for more Live & Local weekdays at 6:00!
