This week’s Hometown Hero, presented by Hendrick Southpoint, is Sherman Betts!

Retiring after 36 years of service, Betts’ contributions to OWASA have been significant in this three decades working to ensure Orange County’s continued supply of water. Betts started on an OWASA construction crew in 1984, and has worked in just about every facet of OWASA’s operations department since, including time as a Crew Leader during recovery from Hurricane Fran.
