The Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce is set to celebrate the accomplishments of 2018 in its largest event of the year — an annual meeting of local professionals and industry leaders that, this year, features a keynote address from governor Roy Cooper!
The annual Greater Durham Chamber meeting, held on February 8 at 11:30 at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel, will also host the presentation of the Civic Honor Award — awarded to individuals who have made significant contributions in strengthening and inspiring the community — and the Bull City Hall of Fame award. The awards will be presented by ABC-11 and Duke University president Vincent E. Price, respectively. Lunch will also be served, and tickets are $75 for Chamber members and $95 for non-members. The Chamber works to support business in Durham and create positive impact in the community, and there’s no better way to see that work in action than the annual meeting’s review and celebration of a year’s worth of progress and happenings!
