Top 3 Looks – How to Wear White Pants

White Pants. Scary, right? It doesn’t have to be. Easily paired with any color, white pants are fantastic for summer in formal or casual settings. Here are three easy ways to wear them and make them seamlessly work with your wardrobe.  You can also pair with a navy polo for a more casual summer look.

1. A Great Blazer with White Pants

My Recommendations: Navy Double Breasted Blazer  //  Light Blue Bold Striped Blazer  //  Navy Double Breasted Striped Blazer   //  Grey Textured Linen Blazer   //  Grey Patterned Blazer  //  White Pants

The cleanest way to make this work is to pair a linen or cotton blazer with the pants (I recommend white cotton pants). Double-breasted blazers are shown here, but since most probably don’t have those in your wardrobe, just use a single-breasted blazer with a similar look and fabric. I love the white pants/white shirt look with a blazer as shown, but remember that removing the jacket will leave you with a full white outfit. The navy blazer works in any setting and should be a comfortable look for most guys. A bolder blazer isn’t for everyone, but can really up your sartorial game.

2. A Blazer, Vest & Tie with White Pants

My Recommendations: Tobacco Brown Blazer  // Blue Blazer  //  White Pants  //  Blue Plaid Vest

An easy way to mix up your looks is to throw on a mismatched vest with your ensemble. Summer can be a little warm for the extra layer, especially here in NC, but if you are in a location that has a comfortable evening temperature you can wear this out to a nice dinner or events.

3. Lighter Summer Colors with White Pants

My Recommendations: Light Grey Blazer  //  Tan Blazer  //  Linen Shirt  //  White Pants

You can easily get a more casual look by going tieless with a blazer in a lighter shade with the white pants. This gets away from the more nautical themed looks with a navy blazer, but can look every bit as sophisticated. The tan or light grey blazers as shown above work perfectly with this look while adding a darker colored linen shirt can add some texture to the look.
