There seems to be a running debate as to whether the most versatile suit color is navy or grey. I obviously have both, as do many style-minded men, but tend to wear grey suits more often — as they tend to feel a little more modern and pair better with most of my wardrobe. This suit from Tallia Orange is a grey with a subtle glen plaid pattern. I wear this just like I would a plain grey suit, it just offers a little more depth. You can wear with solids and patterns and it allows you to add some color in a tie you’d choose while staying relatively conservative and office-ready. If you’re thinking in greys, check out my top 3 ways to pair this suit this year!
1. Dress it Classic with a Striped Tie

With election season in full-force, this grey suit and red tie combo fit the bill perfectly. There’s a reason politicians trend towards this look… it’s simple, makes a powerful statement and looks fantastic. My goal is to help gents look stylish in the simplest ways possible and you can’t get any easier or classic than this. As long as it’s paired correctly and fits well, you’ll look amazing. Mix it up with other solid shirt and silk ties and you can wear this suit on the regular while making it look fresh each and every time.
2. Dress it Up with a Cardigan
One of my favorite items in my closet is a navy blue, merino wool cardigan. This cardigan is super versatile and can dress up almost any outfit. Here, I like to pair it with the grey suit, a blue shirt and a beautiful blue and purple flowered tie. The outfit really stands out without being over the top. Again, this look is conservative enough to wear to the office, but stylish enough to make you look fantastic.
3. Dress it Down with a Polo
Dressed up for the week, dressed down for the weekend or a night out. Take this suit and simply throw on a nice black polo shirt. I like to wear one that fits perfectly so I can wear it untucked. I would recommend a smooth pima cotton polo to complement the suit fabric better than a knit polo would (that can look out of place). I rarely go without a pocket square, but the casual nature of this outfit works without.
