As December begins, so does the Chatham Community Library‘s Winter Reading Program — this year being conducted entirely virtually from December 1 to January 15.
The program, called “Ten to Try,” is a challenge meant to encourage community members to read a book in each of 10 categories while keeping track of their reading progress and sharing their favorite discoveries, memories and moments with fellow readers. Participants will also be entered in a prize drawing when they have read a book in at least five of the 10 listed categories.
There are additional challenges being offered for children ages two to eight and for kids nine and above — the details of each can be found on the library’s Beanstack site.
