The Cat Tales Cat Cafe is coming to Chapel Hill this fall.

The Splinter Group, a local marketing and design firm, announced on Twitter that they had finished brand work for the new venture, which will open on West Franklin Street later this year.

At the cafe, customers can sip on coffee, beer, wine or “meowmosas.” Snacks will be sold separately in the cafe, which can then be taken into the cat room.

Cat Tales Cat Cafe will be home to dozens of cats from The Goathouse Refuge which will be available for adoption. All adoption applications are reviewed by the Goathouse staff.

The adoption fees from cats adopted at the cafe will go back to refuge, which helps with costs accumulated from spay/neuter, microchips, vaccinations, and health checks before the cats arrive at the cafe.

The Cat Tales Cat Cafe will open at 431 W. Franklin Street later this fall.
