This week on “This is Tourism,” installation artist Carter Hubbard talks to Ron Stutts about Floraffiti — a place-making initiative that aids in creating a sustainable visitor destination that reflects a town actively invested in its community. By valuing cultural identity and cultivating economic development, Florafitti creates destination points around town and along retail corridors that promote passersby to explore and engage with the world around them, from walking trails to spending money at local businesses.
