This week, Tom and Aaron discuss the enthusiasm gap: the extent to which one side may be more excited about voting than the other. That can be a major determinant of who comes out on top in any given election – and it’s a pretty big enthusiasm gap this year, with left-leaning voters significantly more excited about heading to the polls than Republicans. Tom says that could make the difference between a good year and a historic year for Democrats – including here in North Carolina, where Democrats have a slim-but-real chance of retaking control of the State House.
