The UNC women’s lacrosse team released its 2025 regular season schedule on Friday. The program is entering its 30th season under hall of fame head coach Jenny Levy.

Carolina will host two exhibitions at Dorrance Field before the regular season officially begins. The first exhibition will be against Elon on January 25 at 2 p.m., and the second will be an alumni scrimmage on February 1 at 2 p.m.

UNC begins the regular season against James Madison in Chapel Hill on February 7 at 5 p.m. The Tar Heels will then visit Liberty (February 9) and Florida (February 15) before beginning ACC play. Carolina is looking to earn a measure of revenge against the Gators, who eliminated the Tar Heels in the opening round of the 2024 NCAA Tournament.

Conference play begins on February 22 as UNC hosts Syracuse at Dorrance Field. Other home conference dates include matchups with Virginia (March 8), Clemson (March 15), defending national champions Boston College (April 5) and Cal (April 13). ACC road matchups are at Louisville (February 28), Virginia Tech (March 20), Notre Dame (March 30) and Duke (April 17).

A key non-conference matchup sees Carolina visit last season’s national runners-up Northwestern on March 27. UNC will also play non-conference games against Temple at Dorrance Field on March 4 and at East Carolina on April 9.
