The non-conference schedule is set for the UNC women’s basketball program’s 2024-25 season.

The season begins at Carmichael Arena on November 4, with the Tar Heels hosting Charleston Southern. Tip-off is scheduled for 11 a.m. The men’s team is scheduled to open its season that day against Elon in the Dean Smith Center, with a tip-off time yet to be announced.

Carolina will return to Carmichael on November 10 against UNC-Wilmington before a pair of games in Greensboro: a true road game at North Carolina A&T on November 12 and a neutral-site matchup against UConn on November 15 in the Greensboro Coliseum. The game with the Huskies is the second of a two-game deal between the programs; UNC lost to UConn in the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT last season.

The Tar Heels will participate in the Women’s Battle 4 Atlantis in the Bahamas for the first time in program history. The three games are scheduled for November 23-25, and the field includes Ball State, Baylor, Columbia, Indiana, Southern Mississippi, Texas A&M and Villanova.

Four straight home games follow Carolina’s visit to the Bahamas: North Carolina Central on November 29, Kentucky on December 5 as part of the ACC-SEC Challenge, Coppin State on December 8 and UNC-Greensboro on December 11. The Tar Heels will then face Florida in Charlotte on December 18 as part of the Jumpman Invitational before concluding the non-conference slate against Norfolk State in Chapel Hill on December 21. Other than the opening game, no tip-off times have been finalized.
